I’m an author and artist with a straightforward philosophy: people are people.

We’re all capable of great bravery and great cowardice, of strength and goodness but also weakness and fear.

In my fiction work, the challenge my characters face is to do what’s necessary to combat evil, regardless of the personal consequence or sacrifice; their actions illustrate my belief that regular people can kick in and become extraordinary when the occasion calls for it.

My non-fiction work explores two paths: one path finds the messages in movies and television - our modern “campfire stories” - that can guide us and bring us together if we’re willing to look beneath the surface; the other path is the building of an easier, happier life and becoming the person we would rather be.
